July is fantasy month! A time where the OutSmart team releases items, wears, and spaces with a fantasy vibe. There have been multiple updates since the last time we visited this topic. Let's review what has been released thus far in Part 2 of this mega review!

Starting where we left off in Part 1 of the mega review of fantasy month, soon after the Wonderland space was released, a new super rare item was released onto the Spin to Win Deluxe wheel. The Play Ethereal Streak is the third fantasy themed item to join the wheel on July 18th, with a win factor of 1. I would first like to point out that the word 'ethereal' is misspelled in their advertising image, which I had to shrink down because it was so pixelated at the size I usually frame my blog images. Epic fail, much? Oh well, I never really liked streaks anyways. Although I'll have to admit, this streak is pretty cool, and I wouldn't mind the +25 speed, +25 health, and +25 fire resistance it supplies to the user. If you're looking for this item in the shops, expect prices around 5,000-8,000 gold. To view the original article, click here!

Three new Bobz joined the Bobz army on July 21st. Introducing the Bobz Puff Wolf, Bobz Fluff Lion (try saying that five times fast), and Bobz Fuzz Hare! Each will give you +15 speed, +35 health, and +25 shadow resistance; +25 speed, +25 health, and +25 arcane resistance; +35 speed, +15 health, and +25 nature resistance respectively. I really only have one thing to say about these lil guys. How are they fantasy themed? I wish OutSmart would have made these Bobz a little more mystical, but they are cute. Except for the bunny. That little fella looks like he's seen some things... To view the original article, click here!

Alright, calm yourself Teddy. New furniture is released and how can I not get all excited? The Dragon Collection was also released on July 21st, and man do these items look amazing! Although I feel like we could've done without the Play Dragon Egg, which gives +25 speed, +25 health, and +25 arcane resistance. The package includes the Dragon Spa Pool, two Dragon Tables, eight Dragon Seats, four Dragon Chandeliers, and three Dragon Collection Cases. Everything about this package is epic. I think this set would look great in the Castle Tower space. I did happen to take a dip in the Dragon Spa Pool, the water (is it water?) is almost opaque, leaving you wondering if your body is still there underneath the purple liquid. The Dragon Chandelier is sooooo dope. I always like a new ceiling light fixture. And the Dragon Seats and Table are so regal. Does that dragon look familiar?

Hmmmm... I always thought dragons had chicken looking legs. If you're looking to purchase any number of these items, prices are around 5,000 gold and under for each individual item as of now. Buy them while you can! You can also get them from the SmallWorlds Store until the 31st. To view the original article, click here!

Another blurry image, sorry. But the Zoom Floating Land was added to the shop on July 22nd and will give the rider +50 speed, +50 health, and +50 nature resistance. Right on brand with the other Zoom items with the +50 attribute boosts, my favorite being the Zoom Lightning Cloud. But all-in-all, I think this item was a miss. I'm sorry, but the only reason I'd buy this package is for the 24,000 gold. It is cool in retrospect, and I love how the miniature waterfall cascades off the side of the floating land. Unfortunately this package is no longer for sale, for it was only available until the 27th. To view the original article, click here! Moving on!

The fourth and final fantasy rare item to be on the Spin to Win Deluxe arrived on July 25th, and I'm in love. Granted, the jellyfish part of the Zoom Nightmare Jellyfish is a bit creepy, but once worn, this wear looks incredible on your avatar. This Jellyfish will give +50 speed, +25 health, and +50 arcane resistance. The tentacle's colors shift prismatically across the spectrum in pastel and neon hues. The animation on this item is amazing! I think I've always had a nack for these types of wears ever since the Genie Suit was released. Good luck trying to get your hands on this item since it has a win factor of 1. And let me know if you do. ;) Unfortunately I couldn't find these babies in the shops, so I don't have an actual price range if you wish to buy them with gold, but estimate prices around 10,000+ gold. Three new fantasy fragrances were released on July 27th, and they are so cool! These 'frags' are a great addition to the collection, and they might just be what you need to vamp up your look. The Play Spectrum Fragrance will give your avatar a +20 speed, +10 health, and +20 nature resistance boost, and you'll need 200 Primary XP to wear it. The Play Flame Fury Fragrance will give your avatar a +15 speed, +15 health, and +25 fire resistance boost, and you'll need 250 Primary XP to wear it. And the Play Dragon Fury Fragrance will give your avatar a +10 speed, +20 health, and +50 arcane resistance boost, and you'll need 300 Primary XP to wear it. The Spectrum Fragrance is not only cool to watch, but it's trippy too. Sometimes I get dizzy, lol. The Dragon Fury Fragrance spirals around your body and also supplies a sort of surface underneath your feet. Very cool! And the Flame Fury Fragrance makes me feel like:

Oh yeah. Never even seen Dragon Ball Z. Just remember you need to be a VIP to wear these awesome fragrances! To view the original article, click here!

I love a good scavenger hunt, and I looked up and down all of the SmallWorlds' official spaces for these cool looking gems. On July 27th, five relics, priced at 10 gold each, were hidden in five different spaces on the first page of the 'Official' section of the spaces tab. To spare myself some time, I took a snap shot of Madison SmallWorlds' original article listing the attribute effects these objects give to the beholder:

I really love all of these items. I'm a collector myself, so when news first broke about this opportunity, I didn't waste time in opening my spaces tab. My favorite one out of the five would have to be the Fantasy Month Pink Crystal Relic. Side bar: I think the Fantasy Month Lime Diamond Relic looks like the thing that floats over Sim's heads.

Was that anyone else's first thought as well? Maybe it's just me. Just let the man enjoy his pancakes, ladies. Good luck trying to find these items for yourself! I won't spoil the fun of a good hunt! :) To view the original article, click here!

The final addition to this year's fantasy month's festivities was the release of Fantasy Valley on July 31st! OutSmart has recently been releasing a lot of spaces that are non-rotatable, and they're heavily advertising this point, as seen in the image above. I'm confused by this, because I believe that being able to rotate a space adds so much more customizability when it comes to designing a space. Although I understand SmallWorld's point of view. For these 'postcard' spaces, it would be much more difficult to design multiple perspectives to the space. Plus, they're mainly designed to be viewed from one angle, creating a more lavish 'postcard' setting.
Enough of my ramblings. This space is gorgeous, set in an inlet between towering mountain scapes. When you enter this space it feels as if you're walking into a surrealistic place. The sunbeams cast down on the lush grass surface create an ideal picture of what the outdoors should be like, illuminating every crevice. Even the stone pathways above the brook scream adventure. Experience it for yourself by heading to the space here! To view the original article, click here!
This has been Part 2 of fantasy month 2017's mega review! I hope you enjoyed reading about all the new updates and items that were added to SmallWorlds this month, but I'm not stopping here! Next month is fashion month, where I'll be releasing yet another mega review! I've never tried reviewing clothing before, maybe I'll need to gather some fashion tips from SmallWorlds models and fashion tycoons. So tune in next month to read about my struggle with clothes!
As always, thanks for reading about my virtual life.
